About
I'm currently working on Upper Cretaceous and early Paleogene calcareous nannofossil assemblages and stable isotopes to establish stratigraphic correlations, paleoenvironmental and paleoclimatic reconstructions. I focused on a number of upper Campanian-Maastrichtian sections throughout low- and mid-latitudes during my PhD and on the Danish basin chalks in the Boreal Realm during my post-doc. My main objectives are now to reconcile the biostratigraphic schemes of the Tropical, Intermediate and high-latitude realms, and to document the long-term evolution of nannofossil assemblages with respect to climatic and environmental changes.
